Here I go again..........

Only I would premiere my new outrageously expensive Venetian Fresco in a recession :)

I have been working on this for the last  four years and these pieces have to be seen to be believed.

They are painted in and on venetian plaster and then burnished to reveal a depth in the shine.

I am working on a contemporary plaster right now that is of birch trees.

100-54=The Day of Atlas

Today my friend recieved a new heart, she waited a month or so for the new one.
His name is Atlas and he is a young German Sheppard, The dog rescue group named
Good Dog Rescue from Ottawa drove him to the T Dot last night
 and then late last night or this morning drove back to Ottawa.

The heart has taken very well and is a perfect match!

100-53=One Crap Day

I got a headache and missed my drawing group today which is tomorrow now.

I missed drawing Steve the tatoo guy and all I can say is pooh!!!!!!!!!!

100-52=Royal Winter Fair

This is a drawing of a little bronze dancer by Degas repro.

She is on a weird angle because I had her lying on a pillow to draw her.

Her dark bronze colour reminds me that I am looking for a black model.

I have been looking for a while now, but my best bet is Diviyan 

who goes to university and works at the Starbucks I go too. 

Diviyan wants to model but doesn't have the time right now:(

He is so beautiful.

Half Way Baby!

I was drawing a little fat pony at the Sunnybrook Stables on Sunday, he was pushing his head threw the fence rails for that greener grass .
The little guy marks my half way point.....50 down 50 to go!

This is a true sign of the coming of Christmas.
The decor of Starbuck is changed overnight.
If I had a million dollars I would buy everyone a drink,
 so instead I drawed it for yahs instead.

As a foot note I thought this really went well with my new NO ADS banner.

I have wanted to illustrate the body language of dogs for a while now.

A good training guide for people to recognize a dog's reaction for obedience.

The bigger objective would be to educate children and adults on dog aggression.

I can't write it.... but here is rough sketch for the piece :)

This is what happy looks like............... 


1. Dog's ears are up.
2. Dog's mouth is open and tongue is out.
3. His or her body at a upward but relaxed stance.

100-42=Cherry Beach

I am getting very close to the half way mark of my hundred drawings.

One drawing a day for 100 hundred days inspired by "Studio Q" on the CBC radio.

First my drawings where of me...then that got old  and I moved on to friends, things then places.

They are not all in order some I start some and go back,  but for the most part I do draw them the day before and then publish on my blog.

I started this on a whim and now it has make me look at my life.

 Bi-Polar Artist with the only one bargain.

That deal is :

Walk my dogs a couple of hours a day and then draw and paint for the rest.

Leaves alot out, stuff that doesn't matter and stuff that does.

What is certain is that my life is not a success but at the bottom of the line:

It is a life of my own making.
